CLICK REGISTER TO PURCHASE TICKETS! The Miss + Junior Miss Hanover Abilities Pageant is sponsored by A1 Asphalt Paving and Sealing, LLC and presented by Hanover Community Support Services (HCSS). This year it will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the Mechanicsville High School Auditorium. Each year, this event shines a spotlight on females with developmental disabilities. We love being able to show the community what these wonderful young ladies are truly capable of! They compete in several different categories to show off their personalities such as opening number, talent, casual wear, evening gown and more. HCSS is a local non-profit that serves Hanover county residents with mental health, substance use and developmental disabilities. We provide educational opportunities for the community such as disability employment symposiums, scholarship opportunities to high school teens entering college and so much more. Proceeds from this event go to fund projects that our youth advisory council puts on like open gyms for children with special needs and mental health initiatives.
